It all started about five years ago and when my best friend told me that she had met this guy over the Internet and that she was going to move to Seattle to be with him. My best friend, Danial, and I grew up in a very small town in Michigan, so it was a long ways for her to move. Two years ago in April, I flew out here for her wedding. Just joking she said that she had the perfect guy for me if I decided to ever move out here. Well at that time I had no desire to leave my small comfortable town in Michigan. The guy she mentioned was Jeremy, he was the best man at their wedding and I was the maid of honor, so we walked down the isle together, but it would not be our last. About a month after I got back to Michigan, my friend wrote me and asked if Jeremy could have my email address. I went ahead and wrote him first. We wrote back and forth for several months, our emails became longer and then grew into phone calls. That August my friend and her husband got married again for her family in Michigan, and I was very excited to hear that the best man was coming too. During that week in Michigan Jeremy and I knew that someone would have to move. In February 2003, Jeremy left his job, family, and friends and drove for three days across the country to show up on my doorsteps before Valentines Day. A year later we decided to get married on Valentines Day. I thank God everyday of my Valentines present that knocked on my door that snowy February evening.
